Job Summary
As a Senior Product Manager for Gameplay at Activision's Call of Duty: Mobile team, you will drive the success of gameplay initiatives, ensuring matches are fun, challenging, and rewarding. You will analyze player needs, define the gameplay roadmap with Tencent partners, and launch new features. Must Have
- Drive the success of gameplay initiatives on Call of Duty: Mobile.
- Generate a deep understanding of player needs, motivations, and pain points related to gameplay.
- Align on the strategy and roadmap for gameplay initiatives.
- Evaluate the performance of new gameplay initiatives using A/B tests, research, and analysis.
- 8+ years of experience in product management or other relevant role.
- Experience working on gameplay for a free-to-play game.
- Experience using SQL, Tableau, Excel, or other analytical tools to generate insights from data.
- Ability to clearly synthesize insights from analysis and research.
- Strong communication and influence skills.
- Strong execution skills with bias to action and track record in improving metrics.
- Able to do meetings in the evening with people in China.

- Experience using research to uncover customer problems and opportunities.
- Basic understanding of statistics, including experience A/B testing.
- Experience working on mobile shooter games or other similar games.
- Experience playing Call of Duty on PC/console.

Job Description
Your Mission
As a Senior Product Manager for Gameplay, you are part of a small team responsible for driving the success of gameplay initiatives on Call of Duty: Mobile. This includes improvements to ensure our matches feel fun, challenging, and rewarding to players. You will work with analysts and researchers to improve our understanding of gameplay opportunities and problems faced by players. Partnering closely with our development partners at Tencent in China, you will ideate around gameplay improvements, align on our gameplay roadmap, and work to build and launch new gameplay initiatives. You will also be responsible for evaluating the performance of your gameplay initiatives using A/B tests, analysis, and research, and using those learnings to improve the game in the future. You’ll report to the Associate Director of Product who leads all Gameplay initiatives.

- Ensure new gameplay initiatives have clear goals, and evaluate the performance of new gameplay initiatives using A/B tests, research, and analysis, synthesizing learnings to improve the game in the future
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product management or other relevant role
- Experience working on gameplay for a free to play game
- Experience using SQL, Tableau, Excel, or other analytical tools to generate insights from data
- Ability to clearly synthesize insights from analysis and research to diagnose root causes of problems and inform future initiatives
- Strong communication and influence skills, able to work well with others
- Strong execution skills with bias to action and track record in improving metrics
- Able to do meetings in the evening with people in China (typically no more than once or twice a week)
