NVIDIA is seeking a Senior SOC Design Methodology Engineer to define and develop system-level methodologies and tools for efficient and scalable SOC construction. The role involves identifying process inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and utilizing AI Agents for chip design challenges. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex GPU and Tegra chips with cutting-edge technology, collaborating with various engineering teams.

Must Have

  • Define and develop system-level methodologies and tools to build SOCs in an efficient and scalable manner
  • Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in the front-end chip implementation process and propose ideas to tackle them
  • Use and develop AI Agent to solve SOC Design related challenges
  • MS in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of proven experience in EDA, AI and methodology
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Has dependency management experience in a project, has AI development experience, has database concept
  • Experienced script skills: Perl, Python, or other industry-standard scripting languages
  • Great communication and teamwork skills to interact within the team and across functional teams to build consensus

We are now packing hundreds of billions of transistors in a chip to meet the growing computing demand in a footprint that is responsible to our environment. The NVIDIA System-On-Chip (SOC) group is looking for a top ASIC Methodology Engineer with a curiosity about SOC design automation, RTL integration, and chip build and assembly. You should have real passion for methodologies and automation solutions that enable SOC creation in the most optimized way.

In this position, there is the opportunity to face the challenge in building the complex GPU and Tegra chips and have chances to use cutting edge technology to solve those challenges. Participate in developing intelligent application systems based on Large Language Models (LLMs) for Chip Design, including conversational systems, intelligent assistants, and knowledge Q&A systems. developing AI Agent systems, learning multi-agent collaboration and workflow orchestration.

And also you will have chances to interact directly with unit-level ASIC, Physical Design, CAD, Package Design, Software, DFT and other teams.

What you'll be doing:
