Broadcom Treasury team has an exciting position in APJ for a Sr. Treasury Analyst in Shanghai, China. This role assists with treasury operations, short-term cash forecasting, banking, and foreign exchange back office activities. Responsibilities include supporting the cash team, treasury operations, managing banking relationships, administering bank portals, collaborating with HQ on treasury management system implementation, ensuring compliance, and backing up FX operations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting with 5+ years of relevant corporate treasury experience in a multinational company or Big 4.
Must have:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in corporate treasury
  • Ability to learn fast and work independently
  • Ability to provide creative solutions and automate workflows
  • Financial modeling skills and strong MS Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Good to have:
  • CPA/CFA is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Treasury management systems
  • Experience with e-banking portals

Job Description:

Sr. Treasury Analyst – Broadcom Shanghai

Broadcom Treasury team has an exciting position in APJ to assist with treasury operations, short-term cash forecasting, banking and foreign exchange back office activities. The position is located in Shanghai, China and offers great opportunities to work with a dynamic team and gain exposure to a broad scope of Treasury activities.

*Responsibilities*

  • Support Treasury cash team in cash forecasting, including short-term cash and weekly cashflow tracking and reporting.
  • Support treasury operations, including intercompany settlement, credit facility, cash pooling structure and bank account rationalization.
  • Assist in managing Broadcom APJ banking relationships, including opening and closing bank accounts, daily operations, host-to-host bank connectivity setup, and partnering with cross functional teams to maintain appropriate corporate governance over bank accounts including signature cards, board resolutions and local compliance filings (KYC).
  • Bank portals administration, including end-user & entitlement management, new function expansion as well as legacy function elimination
  • Collaborate with HQ in implementing additional modules in treasury management system during integration and automation projects. Propose and design ‘best-in-class’ streamlined processes for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure treasury activities are in compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Backup to Treasury team as needed in terms of bank guarantee management and FX back office operations.

*Basic Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, CPA/CFA is preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in corporate treasury with multinational or Big 4 is a plus

  • Ability to learn fast, work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide creative solutions and bring new ideas to automate current workflows
  • Willing to digging into issues and finding out solutions
  • Financial modeling skills and strong MS Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills and proven abilities to collaborate with others
  • Experience with Treasury management systems and e-banking portals is preferred
