Senior Video Systems/Hardware Architecture Engineer
Job Description
- Plan, perform, and optimize video codec and computer vision systems and HW architecture, algorithms, features, logic design, modeling, and design verification.
- Design, develop, implement, and verify complex video systems, HW and FW tasks including Video Encoder, Video Decoder, Computer Vision, Video Quality and Features.
- Perform architecture, standard study, algorithm and feature decomposition to drive requirements and specifications for hardware development.
- Work with customers and analyze customer product requirements to define new architecture, video and CV modules or modification of existing designs for mobile, automotive, IoT, and other markets.
- Ensure KPI, systems performance, area and power metrics are met.
- Drive triage of problems to determine root cause and provide recommendations to fix and/or improve.
- Act as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
- Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field OR Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.

General Summary:
This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the researching, designing, developing, and optimizing of video codec and computer vision systems and HW architecture, algorithms, features, logic design, modeling, and design verification. Designs, develops, implements and verifies complex video systems, HW and FW tasks including Video Encoder, Video Decoder, Computer Vision, Video Quality and Features. Works with customers and analyzes customer product requirements to define for a new architecture, video and CV modules or modification of an existing design for all addressable markets including mobile, automotive, IoT, and others. Ensures KPI, systems performance, area and power metrics are met. Drives triage of problems to determine root cause and provide recommendations to fix and/or improve. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field . Will also accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Pay Range: $135,003.00 - $183,700.00/year
