Job Description

As the primary silicon/hardware owner for the Client Security Product Line, this role involves driving product certifications like FIPS 140-3 Level3, providing hands-on support and debugging for silicon hardware during development and post-production, and supporting ATE test program creation. The lead will define SoC micro-architecture, monitor industry requirements, and engage directly with customers to ensure products meet expectations.
Must have:
  • Own and drive product certifications, primarily FIPS 140-3 Level3.
  • Provide silicon HW (system) support and debug during silicon development and post-production.
  • Support ATE test program creation/integration for new and production silicon.
  • Define SoC Micro-architecture for Client Security Products.
  • Monitor industry requirements and determine application to client security products.
  • Meet directly with customers on a regular basis.

  • Knowledge of standard SOC interfaces such as USB, I2C, MDIO, UART
  • Hardware board design skills

Job Details

Job Duties:

  • Primary silicon/HW owner for Client Security Product Line
  • Owns and drives product certifications, primarily FIPS 140-3 Level3, collaborating with third-party consultants
  • Owns silicon HW (system) support and debug during silicon development and post-production which involves hands-on work with silicon, hardware, and software
  • Provides support for ATE test program creation/integration for new silicon and production silicon
  • Defines SoC Micro-architecture for Client Security Products on a periodic basis, working closely with ASIC design and software engineers to ensure SoC products meet customer expectations
  • Responsible for monitoring industry requirements and determining application to client security products
  • Meets directly with customers on a regular basis

Job Requirements:

  • 12+ years of industry experience in ASIC design and development
  • MS or BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with industry standards related to authentication and computer security required
  • FIPS 140-3 certification experience required
  • Hands on lab experience bringing up and debugging silicon required
  • SOC hardware micro-architecture experience required
  • Strong understanding of digital design flow including RTL simulation, logic synthesis, timing constraints, timing closure
  • Ability to work with a multi-functional team to create plans and execute on those plans
  • Able to identify product requirements and develop solid plans to enable the implementation
  • Possess an ownership/leadership approach
  • Ability to craft and deliver presentations for internal teams and customers
  • Knowledge of standard SOC interfaces such as USB, I2C, MDIO, UART a plus
  • Hardware board design skills a plus
