SMG Finance Data Scientist

Intel is seeking a Data Scientist for its Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) Operations Finance LeAp team. This role involves incubating new AI/ML use cases through rapid experimentation and prototyping, developing PoCs with Python, Power BI, LLMs, and multi-agent frameworks. The scientist will also maintain and enhance existing solutions, ensuring high uptime and optimizing integrations. Strong collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure compliance is crucial.

Must Have

• Incubate New Use Cases with AI / ML (rapid experimentation, prototyping, PoCs with Python, Power BI, LLMs, multi-agent frameworks)
• Maintain and Enhance Existing Use Cases (99% uptime, UX tweaks, new features, optimize Power BI datasets, Power Automate flows, Teams/SharePoint integrations)
• Strong partnership with key stakeholders to frame use cases and drive adoption
• Master's in Computer Science
• 6+ years' experience in AI/ML and data science roles
• Good command of verbal and written English
• Advanced Python, ML and GenAI development
• Prompt engineering and agent frameworks, AI agents building, Langchain, Dify
• Microsoft Stack Integration: Power BI Desktop/Cloud, Power Automate, Teams/SharePoint integration
• Data Engineering: Data Extract/Transform/Load and DBaaS

• DevOps: Git repository management, monitoring/observability

Our Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) Operations Finance LeAp (Leading Application) team plays a pivotal role in optimizing portfolio performance, financial forecasting, and process automation with leading technology and innovations. We are seeking a forward-thinking Data Scientist to harness the power of agentic AI and machine learning to revolutionize our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Incubate New Use Cases with AI / ML
• Rapid experimentation and prototyping (within 10-day lead time, 5-day iterations) of AI / ML solutions
• Develop PoCs using Python, Power BI, LLMs, multi-agent frameworks, and automation tools
• Create UX prototypes, Git repositories, and host solutions on cloud/on-prem VMs
• Deliver pilot updates and next-step plans
• Incorporates predictive modeling, statistics, and other analysis techniques for collecting, exploring, interpreting, and extracting insights from structured and unstructured data
• Performs descriptive statistical analysis, develops visualizations, applications, dashboards, or presentations, and communicates insights in a clear and effective way to help the organization with better decision making
• Drives the design, development and optimization of artificial intelligence/machine learning, deep learning training and inference frameworks, contributes to the research and development of data science activities and supports product development efforts as required
• Maintain and Enhance Existing Use Cases
• Ensure 99 percent uptime and reliability of deployed AI / ML solutions
• Implement enhancements (UX tweaks, new features, etc.) within 10 days
• Optimize Power BI datasets, Power Automate flows, and Teams/SharePoint integrations
• Monitor data pipelines, manage cost/access governance, and maintain runbooks
• Track and report performance and error alerts
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Governance
• Strong partnership with key stakeholders to frame use cases and drive adoption
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate results effectively
• Ensure 100 percent compliance with Intel's security and Responsible AI policies
