Job Summary

This Software Architect role at a top-tier investment bank in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, involves defining EUC strategy, designing workplace platforms like VDI/DaaS and MDM/UEM, and optimizing device lifecycle management. The architect will ensure performance, security, and governance, aligning with security frameworks and implementing Zero Trust controls. Key responsibilities include leading cross-team collaboration to deliver roadmaps and major rollouts, working with security, networking, and business units. The role requires expertise in Microsoft Operator Connect and Teams Voice, with a focus on secure and compliant voice communications.

Must Have

  • Define EUC strategy & standards
  • Create technical vision for devices, OS builds, application delivery, profiles, security baselines
  • Design workplace platforms
  • Architect solutions like VDI/DaaS, MDM/UEM, endpoint security, patching, identity integration
  • Optimize device lifecycle management
  • Standardize provisioning, imaging, updates, application packaging, compliance, and retirement processes
  • Ensure performance, security & governance
  • Align with security frameworks, implement Zero Trust controls, validate scalability, capacity, monitoring, and DR
  • Lead cross-team collaboration & roadmap delivery
  • Work with security, networking, support, vendors, and business units to deliver roadmaps, PoCs, and major rollouts
  • 3-5 years of experience and In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Operator Connect
  • Microsoft Teams Voice and Telephony expertise
  • Networking concepts relevant to voice deployments (SBCs, SIP, QoS, NAT, firewalls, and network monitoring)
  • Ensure security and compliance in voice communications, including encryption, identity management, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience integrating Operator Connect with third-party telephony systems and legacy PBXs
