Workfront Solutions Developer (Contract)

Bounteous is seeking a Workfront Solutions Developer (Contract) to configure, administer, and deliver Adobe Workfront solutions for enterprise clients. This remote role involves optimizing Workfront environments, translating business requirements into scalable workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency in marketing and delivery organizations. The developer will also focus on continuous improvement and client enablement.

Must Have

• Configure and maintain Workfront environments, including dashboards, reports, templates, request queues, and workflows.
• Implement and sustain automations, approval paths, and governance standards.
• Support system administration, including user setup, permissions, and data governance.
• Translate business and functional requirements into well-structured Workfront configurations.
• Partner with architects and analysts to define workflows, reporting structures, and governance models.
• Document technical configurations and solution details.
• Assess existing client instances to identify configuration enhancements and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain awareness of Workfront releases, updates, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
• Provide configuration quality assurance and support user acceptance testing.
• Deliver user training and technical handoff documentation.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Workfront configuration and administration.
• Strong understanding of project management, creative operations, or marketing workflows within enterprise organizations.
• Experience building dashboards, reports, templates, and automations aligned with client business goals.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise martech or project management ecosystems.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

• Working knowledge of Workfront Fusion or other integration tools.
• Exposure to Workfront Fusion for light automation development and integrations.
• Adobe Workfront Core Developer certification.

We are seeking a Developer, Workfront Solutions, to join our growing Adobe Workfront team. This role is focused on configuration, administration, and solution delivery, with some client-facing engagement but not as the project lead.

As a full-time remote contractor, you’ll play a hands-on role in configuring, optimizing, and administering Adobe Workfront solutions for enterprise clients. You’ll collaborate closely with consultants, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into scalable workflows and streamlined operational systems that drive efficiency across marketing and delivery organizations.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Key Responsibilities:

• Workfront Configuration & Administration
• Configure and maintain Workfront environments, including dashboards, reports, templates, request queues, and workflows.
• Implement and sustain automations, approval paths, and governance standards aligned with client processes.
• Support system administration, including user setup, permissions, and data governance.

• Solution Design & Delivery
• Translate business and functional requirements into well-structured Workfront configurations.
• Partner with architects and analysts to define workflows, reporting structures, and governance models that align with client business needs.
• Document technical configurations and solution details for internal and client-facing documentation.

• Optimization & Continuous Improvement
• Assess existing client instances to identify configuration enhancements, optimization opportunities, and process improvements.
• Maintain awareness of Workfront releases, updates, and best practices to recommend new capabilities proactively.
• Support light automation development and integrations (exposure to Workfront Fusion preferred but not required).

• Collaboration & Enablement
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including marketing operations, developers, and solution architects, to ensure successful Workfront implementations.
• Provide configuration quality assurance and support user acceptance testing.
• Deliver user training and technical handoff documentation to ensure long-term client success.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Workfront configuration and administration.
• Strong understanding of project management, creative operations, or marketing workflows within enterprise organizations.
• Experience building dashboards, reports, templates, and automations aligned with client business goals.
• Working knowledge of Workfront Fusion or other integration tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise martech or project management ecosystems.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of interfacing with clients and internal teams.
• Adobe Workfront Core Developer certification preferred.
