The Software Business Systems Analyst will provide Business Systems Analysis support within a defined business or process area, working in Agile/Scrum environments. Key responsibilities include understanding business objectives, refining requirements, performing process analysis, and developing detailed documentation. The role involves collaborating with users, supporting system testing, and delivering end-user training. Success requires strong communication, public sector experience, and the ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with the AMANDA product suite.
Must Have:- Provide Business Systems Analysis support within a defined business or process area.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments with iterative development cycles.
- Understand business objectives, processes, priorities and challenges.
- Review and refine business requirements and use cases.
- Perform process-specific requirements analysis.
- Develop detailed process documentation, including system requirements and process flows / use cases.
- Collaborate with internal and external users / clients to elicit business concerns and develop workable solutions.
- Assist with fit/gap analysis to ensure the proposed software platform is the right solution.
- Determine impact on existing systems and processes.
- Maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with business and IT colleagues.
- Support the business in developing and delivering end user training.
- Address end user process questions and provide process / system support and ongoing issue analysis / correction.
- Develop progress reports and communicate project status to team and manager.
- Support system testing requirements in addition to providing UAT testing support.
- Create and execute test plans and cases based on functional and design specifications.
- Document test outcomes and work with the team to resolve any defects.
- Possess a BA/BS degree and 3-5 years’ relevant experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrate Business analysis, requirements and/or product ownership acumen with certification.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication.
- Possess experience working in Public sector.
- Be prepared to jump in and figure things out with minimal support.
- Work collaboratively with the team to get up to speed as quickly as possible.
- Must be located in Canada.
