Software Developer

We are seeking a motivated Software Developer to join our team, focusing on the development and maintenance of the AutoCAD Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery System. This role involves making effective decisions, collaborating globally, and taking accountability for software quality. The developer will work on backend logic, build, test, and publish applications, design scalable systems, and optimize for performance and cost-effectiveness. This is a hybrid position based in our Vancouver, BC office.

Must Have

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong programming skills in Python or other programming languages
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies

Good to Have

• Familiarity with AWS or Azure
• Knowledge and familiarity with Linux
• Experience in front-end web development
• Experience in AI coding assistants and AI application development
• MS in Computer Science or a related degree

Position Overview

As a Software Developer on this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with team members globally to ensure excellent quality product deliveries by applying strong software development and DevOps skills.

This position is to be hybrid based out of our new Vancouver, BC office.

Responsibilities

• Coding and contributing to backend logic for new features and updates of AutoCAD CI system
• Build, test, and publish the applications
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, secured, and easy to maintain backend systems
• Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize for scalability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong programming skills in Python or other programming languages
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies
• Good sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with AWS or Azure
• Knowledge and familiarity with Linux
• Experience in front-end web development is a plus
• Experience in AI coding assistants and AI application development is a plus
• MS in Computer Science or a related degree
