Job Description

This role is for a Software Developer at TransUnion, focusing on coding, design, and testing with full ownership from feature development to delivery. The position requires strong skills in Java/J2EE technologies, including Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and various web services. Candidates should have experience with RDBMS, NoSQL databases like Mongo, and Oracle/PL/SQL. Familiarity with Java Design Patterns, Maven, Junit, Agile, DevOps, Microservices, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices is essential for success in this hybrid role.

Must Have:

Coding, design, and testing skills with ownership of feature development to delivery.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE Technologies (Java, Spring, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Spring IOC, Spring Data JPA, Apache Camel, JDBC, Hibernate, MyBatis, OpenJPA, EJB, SOAP, RESTful Web Service, XML, XSLT, JSON, JMS, JAuth2.0, JWT).
Experience in Web-Services & Web services security using SOAP, WSSI.
Good hands-on experience in developing and designing Apache Camel and RDBMS solutions.
Good understanding of EIP design patterns & principles.
Mongo NoSQL proficiency for efficient collection insertion.
Good hands-on experience in Oracle or PL/SQL.
Experience in creational Java Design Patterns (Singleton, Factory, Abstract Factory, Session Façade, Service Locator, Data Access Object, Value Object, Business Object).
Experience in application configuration and build using Maven.
Experience in test driven development using Junit.
Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps culture, Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes Clusters, Containers, CICD practices.
Good understanding of software development agile practices.
Experience with Asynchronous message communication/integration technologies (ActiveMQ, JMS, Oracle AQ).

Impact You'll Make:

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
