Octopus Deploy is seeking a Software Engineer for their Cloud Platform team. The role involves solving infrastructure problems through code, primarily in C#. Responsibilities include managing and optimizing Azure resources, contributing to infrastructure improvements, integrating new Azure services, refining deployment processes, and implementing CI/CD best practices. The engineer will also contribute to internal portal and custom modules in C#, monitor infrastructure health, resolve operational issues, and participate in incident management and an on-call roster. The role is remote and based in Australia or New Zealand. The company offers a transparent compensation system with salaries for the Intermediate level ranging from $115k to $145k AUD/NZD, excluding superannuation/KiwiSaver. Must Have
- Software engineering mindset
- DevOps, SRE, or similar knowledge

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Monitoring and Optimisation of Azure resources.
- Contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives.
- Application Development:
- Contribute to and enhance internal portal and custom modules in C#
- Ensure smooth deployment and integration of features.
- Operations and Maintenance:
- Monitor infrastructure health.
- Resolve operational issues and minimize downtime.
- Respond to customer requests
- Involved in incident management and on-call roster.
- Key Technologies: Azure (AKS, SQL, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, and other cloud services), Kubernetes.
