Job Description

This role involves joining a dynamic team to design, analyze requirements, develop, implement, test, debug, and maintain front-end aspects for Adtran Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) software products. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the front-end of AIM software, managing UI/UX for web-based applications, participating in software architecture and design discussions, and designing Proof-of-Concepts for internal stakeholders.

  • Participate and collaborate in software architecture and design discussions
  • Design Proof-of-Concepts on forward-looking technologies for internal stakeholders

As a member of a young and dynamic team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining front-end aspects for Adtran Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) software products.

Adtran Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) Product Unit is responsible for Adtran’s ALM series of fiber monitoring devices and its associated software, which provide proactive fiber monitoring solutions which help network infrastructure operators to quickly isolate faults and take immediate targeted action.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end of AIM software products
  • Be responsible for UI/UX of web-based apps
  • Participate and collaborate in software architecture and design discussions
  • Design Proof-of-Concepts on forward-looking technologies for internal stakeholders

Desired qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science or related area
  • First experience as a front-end developer in a multinational environment
  • Proficient in Typescript and React
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, and state management
  • Experience using tools like Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or CSS Modules.
  • Familiarity with design systems, UI/UX principles, and attention to detail in visual consistency and usability
  • Motivated team player
  • Fluent in oral and written English
