They are seeking a resourceful Full Stack Software Engineer II for their Telemetry & Tooling team in Chennai, India. This role involves building critical technology solutions, microservices, observability reports, and data pipelines for Arcadia's platform. The ideal candidate is a low-ego team player with a holistic, long-term perspective, excited to expand renewable energy access. The role requires an inquisitive, analytical problem-solver comfortable with iterating and collaborating across teams.

Must Have:
  • Write and refactor code to help deliver data on committed timelines
  • Partner with Product, SRE, Data Engineering, and Analytics
  • Design and develop robust, scalable back-end systems
  • Build and maintain microservices for monitoring, tracking, and data delivery
  • Build and maintain observability reports
  • Deploy new functionality frequently with a streamlined CI/CD pipeline
  • Increase test coverage and reliability, and help troubleshoot production issues
  • Collaborate frequently with other engineers, give thoughtful code review, and mentor junior engineers

  • Experience with Cloudformation, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Exposure to React or Angular
  • Exposure to Springboot, JPA/Hibernate
  • Exposure to Snowflake (with Streamlit)
  • API programming experience
  • Experience working on building data models, API programming, Postman, and REST services
  • Ability and internal drive to problem-solve, both creatively and pragmatically
  • Ability to scope, prioritize, and deliver on project commitments
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a resourceful, versatile Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Telemetry & Tooling team and work on building critical technology solutions, work on micro services, observability reports & data pipelines that enable our platform, products, and services. The ideal candidate is a low-ego team player who approaches engineering problems and potential solutions with a unique, holistic, and long-term perspective, and is genuinely excited to build the software expanding renewable energy access to millions of households across the country. We’re looking for an inquisitive, analytical problem-solver who possesses both grit and flexibility -- our work often involves implementing unconventional solutions and requires someone who’s not afraid to explore new domains when previous methods fail, sort through minute details, or find non-engineering ways around a problem. This person must be comfortable with iterating towards a solution and collaborating closely with colleagues in Product, SRE, Data Engineering, Analytics and US counterparts along the way.

Our Platform process uses a microservices architecture that makes heavy use of Java Spring boot based applications, Angular frontend and AWS services. We are also open to any technology through which can deliver features to end users quicker and on time. We have several of our ecosystem service apps running on K8s.

What you’ll do:

  • Write and refactor code to help deliver data on the committed timeline
