Job Summary

As a Software Engineer (Integration and Innovation) at Kyriba, embedded within IGT1 Lanka, you will be a technical expert and innovator in a global team. Your role involves designing, building, and testing secure, high-quality, and scalable integrations between Kyriba's cloud-based finance solutions and client financial systems like ERPs, banks, and third-party APIs. You will contribute to treasury transformation for global enterprises, optimize configurations, troubleshoot issues, and innovate with AI-driven automation, ensuring Kyriba's connectivity remains a market differentiator.

Must Have

  • Design, build, and test integrations between Kyriba and ERP systems
  • Develop and maintain RESTful API integrations, SFTP connections, and Python scripts
  • Support real-time and batch data flows for financial transactions
  • Configure and validate connectivity protocols (SWIFT, H2H, EBICS, AS2, SFTP)
  • Ensure integration security through authentication, encryption, and access controls
  • Participate in integration design workshops and translate business requirements
  • Conduct performance testing, data validation, and root cause analysis
  • Optimize configurations and data transformations for reliability
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation
  • Follow formal change control and quality assurance processes
  • 2–5 years of experience in technical consulting, SaaS integration, or ERP connectivity
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies: REST APIs, SFTP, XML, JSON, flat-file exchanges
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Basic knowledge of banking protocols and file formats (ISO 20022, SWIFT, NACHA, SEPA, BAI2)
  • Awareness of security practices (PKI, OAuth, encryption, firewall rules, certificates)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

ERP & API Integration Delivery

  • Design, build, and test integrations between Kyriba and leading ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Workday, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain RESTful API integrations, SFTP connections, and Python-based automation scripts.
  • Support real-time and batch data flows for payments, bank statements, FX deals, and GL postings.
  • Configure and validate connectivity protocols (SWIFT, H2H, EBICS, AS2, SFTP).
  • Ensure integration security through proper authentication, encryption, certificates, and access controls.

Technical Architecture & Troubleshooting

  • Participate in integration design workshops, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Conduct performance testing, data validation, and root cause analysis for connectivity issues.
  • Optimize configurations and data transformations for reliability and speed.
  • Support production cutovers, hypercare, and proactive monitoring to ensure smooth operations.

Innovation & Automation

  • Contribute to the design and testing of AI-driven automation tools (TAI, DUST) for faster integration setup, testing, and diagnostics.
  • Propose enhancements to streamline recurring integration processes and eliminate manual work.
  • Explore new banking technologies (instant payments, open banking, blockchain, stablecoin integrations).
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape Kyriba's next-generation connectivity roadmap.

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain detailed technical documentation: integration blueprints, mapping matrices, test plans, and operational runbooks.
  • Follow formal change control and quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in peer reviews and knowledge sharing within the IIH and across global teams.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in technical consulting, SaaS integration, treasury systems, or ERP connectivity.
  • Experience in fintech or enterprise financial software is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Python (for automation, data transformation, or testing).

Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of integration technologies: REST APIs, SFTP, XML, JSON, and flat-file exchanges.
  • Exposure to AI tools, Python scripting, or automation frameworks is highly desirable.
