Software Engineer (iOS Developer)

Thales Singapore Engineering Competence Centre (ECC) is seeking an iOS Mobile Developer for its Cyber-Security Products Business Line. The role involves participating in the design, implementation, and validation of mobile applications and SDKs, contributing to technology platform improvements, and working on successful mobile IAM products that offer secure authentication and simplified digital identity management.

Must Have

• Participate in design, implementation, and validation of mobile application
• Participate in the design and development of mobile SDKs
• Contribute to the improvement of existing technology platform/baseline and development methodology
• Degree in Information Security/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of mobile development in iOS (Objective-C and Swift)
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in mobile technologies
• Knowledge of OO design and programming skills
• Knowledge of unit testing and test automation
• Hands on experience with GitLab/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in working with agile methodologies, i.e. SCRUM

• Proficiency in native C development
• Strong interest in mobile applications ecosystem
• Experience in utilizing AI to existing workflows
• Passion in adopting new AI technology to disrupt and accelerate existing tasks

Thales Singapore Engineering Competence Centre (ECC) is a well-established R&D and engineering center serving major customers worldwide in Digital Identity and Security domains ranging from mobile connectivity, IoT, banking & payment to government solutions.

Thales CDI – Cyber-Security Products (CSP) Business Line is in search of an iOS Mobile Developer for our successful mobile IAM products. Our products offer a simplified solution for identity providers to manage and access their digital identities whilst providing a secure authentication experience. This sophisticated solution involves multiple web services and clients, offering a single platform that provides, easy-to-integrate services with security at the forefront.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design, implementation, and validation of mobile application within the R&D project team structure in accordance with institutionalized processes and delivery standards
• Participate in the design and development of mobile SDKs
• Contribute to the improvement of existing technology platform/baseline and development methodology through prototyping and patent proposal

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Security/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of mobile development in iOS (Objective-C and Swift)
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in mobile technologies
• Proficiency in native C development is a plus
