Key responsibilities:
- Optimise, maintain and bring the Journee runtime and streaming protocol to the next level.
- Troubleshoot and enhance system performance for game engine-driven applications, focusing on Windows-Linux compatibility by leveraging technologies such as Wine.
- Collaborate on innovations in streaming quality, including testing to ensure our streaming solutions excel under various network conditions.
Who we are looking for
- Proven experience in graphics programming and rendering APIs such as DirectX, Vulkan or OpenGL.
- Proven experience in system programming for both Windows and Linux.
- Expertise in profiling and optimising real-time, high-performance applications.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- The willingness to dive deep into OSes and game engines to fix crazy issues
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with inter-process communication (IPC).
- Experience with low-latency video streaming systems.
- Knowledge of Docker and Zig programming languages.
- Knowledge in Wine, Proton or VKD3D.
