This role is for a Solutions Engineer within the Enterprise sales organization, supporting the EMEA region. The team helps innovative customers solve business problems using Autodesk technology, focusing on growth and development. The position involves showcasing industry and software workflows expertise, translating customer problems into effective solutions, and driving company growth.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with diverse professionals across sales and account teams.
  • Engage directly with customers via workshops, RFI/RFP responses, scoping pilots, and on-site visits.
  • Propose workflow improvements or solutions, connecting them to customer needs and highlighting value.
  • Support strategic engagements within Autodesk to promote and grow relationships.
  • Join a team that loves learning and tackling problems together.
  • Have a growth mindset and contribute experiences and ideas for shared success.
Good to have:
  • Working knowledge of the competitive technical landscape (e.g., PTC, Siemens, Dassault).
  • Experience in data analysis tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills.
  • Experience or interest in sales-supporting functions (e.g., presales).
  • Desire to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building.
  • Network builder, comfortable in building meaningful relationships.
  • Works without supervision and can manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of social media to strengthen industry profile and drive awareness with customers.

Position Overview

We are a diverse and growing team of solutions engineers within our Enterprise sales organization, supporting the entire EMEA region. We get to work with some of our most innovative and dynamic customers, helping them identify new ways to solve their business problems using our technology.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your industry and software workflows expertise by partnering with a diverse range of customers. You will ask questions, demonstrate empathy, and communicate effectively, translating customer problems into solutions that meet their needs and drive our growth.

Responsabilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse range of professionals across the Named Accounts sales and account teams, from account executives, technical solutions executives, and strategic industry executives to customer success managers, consulting, and technical account specialists
  • Engage directly with customers, from site operatives all the way to the C-suite, via workshops, RFI/RFP responses, scoping pilots, on-site visits, and more
  • Propose ways to improve workflows or solve customer problems, connecting the solutions to customer needs and highlighting the value provided
  • Support strategic engagements within Autodesk to promote and grow our relationships

  • Have a growth mindset, and bring your own experiences and ideas to the table to build on our shared success

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working in modern manufacturing environments, ensuring data continuity from planning to design, through construction and operation. We’re looking for people that can say “I’ve been there and done that” when it comes to digital factories and manufacturing data workflows!
  • You should have a working knowledge and be skilled in the use of the technologies required to deliver these projects (Vault, Inventor, Fusion Manage, Flexsim etc.)– we’re looking for hands-on technical people
  • Knowledge of Autodesk solutions and workflows in the AEC and MFG industries (especially Autodesk Construction Cloud)
  • A solution-focused approach to solving problems
  • Fluent in English and one of German, Spanish, French and Swedish (additional languages are a plus!)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the EMEA region, some global travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • A working knowledge of the competitive technical landscape would be beneficial, but not required. (eg. PTC, Siemens, Dassault, etc.)
