This role is for a successful sales professional experienced in finding new accounts and managing existing ones in a consultative selling environment. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, identifying opportunities for additional customer value. Collaboration with partners, license compliance, customer success, and technical specialists is key. The focus is on Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) business and infrastructure. Responsibilities include prospecting, presenting, and selling complex software products to SMB and Enterprise customers, developing territory account plans, expanding opportunities through up-selling and cross-selling Autodesk products, uncovering customer requirements, and comprehensive account planning.
Must have:
  • Prospecting, presenting, and selling complex software products and services to new small and medium-sized business (SMB) and Enterprise customers
  • Develop and maintain territory account plans, detailed financial forecasts, and achieve sales targets
  • Expand opportunities and increase average deal sizes by up-selling add-ons and cross-selling a proven and customer-loved portfolio of Autodesk products
  • Uncover and understand customer requirements to recommend and sell Autodesk products or industry solutions
  • Account planning (including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, business justifications, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long-range account management strategies
  • 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience selling complex technology solutions
  • Previous B2B sales experience selling to SMB or enterprise accounts
  • Success exceeding quota in a structured, disciplined, sales environment that includes strategic and collaborative/team selling
  • Experience forecasting and reporting on territory/account activity
Good to have:
  • SaaS selling experience
  • Consultive sales methodology techniques, like outcome selling
  • Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management tools
  • College degree or equivalent experience

Position Overview

If you are a successful sales professional who has experience finding new accounts and managing existing accounts in a consultative selling environment this is a great fit for you! You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing identifying areas for providing additional value for customers. You will collaborate with partner representatives, license compliance, customer success, and technical specialists. We are focused on the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) business and infrastructure (e.g., transportation, water design).

You will report to a Territory Sales Hub Manager in a hybrid/remote environment.

Responsibilities

As Territory Sales Representative your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting, presenting, and selling complex software products and services to new small and medium-sized business (SMB) and Enterprise customers
  • Develop and maintain territory account plans, detailed financial forecasts, and achieve sales targets
  • Expand opportunities and increase average deal sizes by up-selling add-ons and cross-selling a proven and customer-loved portfolio of Autodesk products
  • Uncover and understand customer requirements to recommend and sell Autodesk products or industry solutions

Minimum Qualifications

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $94,900 and $137,280. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
