Specialist - DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer Specialist will join the Marketplace Technology organization to work on the Eclipse Intelligence product, a platform for democratizing data access and enhancing operational efficiency. This role focuses on facilitating teamwork between software development and IT operations to streamline software delivery and infrastructure changes. Key responsibilities include process automation, infrastructure management through code, and establishing continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of modern IT environments.

Role Responsibilities -

• As a DevOps Engineer Specialist your focus will be facilitated teamwork between software development and IT operations teams to streamline software delivery and infrastructure changes.
• Key responsibilities encompass process automation, infrastructure management through code, and the establishment of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• The crucial proficiencies include automation tools, cloud services, software development practices, and system administration techniques, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of modern IT environments.
• Besides working closely with your colleagues, you will also work closely with teams in other countries.

We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)

• At least 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• AWS experience.
• Terraform expertise.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Containers expertise (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, etc.,
• Proficiency with Linux commands and utilities including Bash scripting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills that enable you to troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated issues.
• Good communication and collaboration skills that enable you to work well with developers, stakeholders, and users.
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends that help you improve your skills and knowledge.
• Creativity and innovation in creating solutions that meet user needs and expectations and deliver value to the business.
• Attention to detail and quality assurance that ensure your software products are of high quality and meet the standards and requirements.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and cope with changing priorities and deadlines.

• Education Qualification: Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
