Job Summary
Nasdaq is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join their Index Product Intelligence team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This full-time role involves developing research on the ETF market, providing insights through industry data analysis, and supporting business strategy. The analyst will prepare and present various research reports, including market commentary and performance analyses, to position Nasdaq Index as a thought leader. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience and a degree in a quantitative or financial field.
Must Have
- Knowledgeable about index tracking investment vehicles (ETFs, MFs)
- Assist Index Product Intelligence team develop research about the ETF market environment
- Provide insights into the current market state by analyzing industry data
- Support business unit strategy
- Prepare and present standard and customized research reports
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related discipline
- 1-2 years of commensurate experience

Job Description
- Knowledgable about index tracking investment vehicles, particularly exchange traded funds (ETFs) and Mutual Funds (MFs).
- Assist Index Product Intelligence team develop research about the ETF market environment by providing insights into the current market state by analyzing industry data on a regular basis.
- Support business unit strategy and provide additional external content to help our clients and position Nasdaq Index as a thought leader in the index tracking investment vehicle space.
- Prepare and present standard and customized research reports including comparative market commentary, cashflow and product performance analyses, and other reports.
- Prior experience within the asset management industry or analytical role in financial services is preferrable.
The Level of Experience We Expect:
- BSc/MSc in a Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Commensurate experience (1-2 years) and degree qualified in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance or related subject area.
