Job Description
- Maintenance and Installation: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and conduct installations and replacements of components and equipment, in addition to opening and escalating level 3 support;
- System Update: Apply system updates;
- System Management: Monitor operations, evaluate needs, and conduct necessary changes;
- Customer Support and Operation: Understand Customer Service Management (CSM) needs and offer proactive support in operations to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Report Preparation: Prepare performance reports, work plans and maintenance plans, system reports, and operational procedures;
- Field Team Support: Understand the needs of the field team and offer support for problem resolution, installations, and/or system changes;
- Meetings and Presentations: Participate in and support client meetings, preparation of presentations;
Basic Requirements
- Based in Brasília/ DF;
- Degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields (CREA mandatory);
- Experience in:
- IP Addressing (IPv4 and IPv6): Master IP addressing concepts, IP classes, subnetting, and the transition and coexistence between IPv4 and IPv6.
- Equipment Configuration and Management:
- Routing and Switching: Ability to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches, including routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLANs, VTP, STP.
- Wireless Networks: Configuration and optimization of Wi-Fi networks, access point management, wireless security (WPA2/3, RADIUS).
- WAN Networks: Knowledge of long-distance technologies, such as MPLS, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and connectivity with service providers.
- Network Security:
- Firewalls and IDS/IPS: Knowledge and ability to configure firewalls (stateful, proxy, next-generation), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- VPNs: Implementation and management of VPNs for secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
- End-to-End Security: Understand concepts of encryption, authentication, access control and information security policies.
- Vulnerability Analysis: Knowledge of tools and techniques to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in networks.
- Virtualization
- Network Virtualization: Understand technologies such as SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Functions Virtualization).
- Knowledge in Palo Alto Firewall and Extreme switches;
- English: advanced to proficient (mandatory);
- Knowledge in APCO 25 and Dimetra will be a differential;
- Availability for 25% travel (based in Brasília/DF).
