Job Summary
The Sr Business Systems Analyst will work within the Corporate Applications organization, focusing on implementing and supporting technology solutions for Oracle Application finance, specifically Procure to Pay and GL. This role involves gathering business requirements, assisting in testing, developing training materials, leading implementations, and providing post-implementation support globally. The analyst will lead the Procure to Pay and accounting areas, partnering with finance process owners and developers to optimize global solutions and ensure data integrity.
Must Have
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure ERP system meets needs.
- Identify system gaps and design solutions to address business process gaps.
- Configure and maintain ERP software and processes (P2P, T&E, CLM).
- Understand upstream and downstream systems and collaborate for integration with Yahoo ERP/EPM.
- Provide training and technical support to ERP system users.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including workflows, user guides, and training materials.
- Diagnose and resolve system problems, working with software vendors when necessary.
- Work with Procure to Pay and accounting business process owners to translate requirements to technology solutions.
- Lead Procure to Pay area, supporting and optimizing the Finance platform.
- Partner with relevant Finance Process Owners to prioritize and implement enhancements.
- Lead Finance projects and contractors on projects.
- Collect requirements for building and supporting business applications.
- Analyze and design short- and long-term solutions for Finance systems.
- Plan and perform various test cycles including integration and system testing.
- Plan and Perform Conference Room Pilot sessions for deployment.
- Plan and Perform User Acceptance Testing for deployment.
- Plan, organize and conduct training to end users for deploying business solutions.
- Plan, organize and conduct workshops to facilitate discussions and decisions.
- Provide Production support to rolled out projects.
- Provide Production support for month end close activities.
- Design and Deploy Custom Solutions leveraging Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Work with other business systems analysts and development team in converting business solution into technical designs.
- Create and manage documentation related to desktop manuals, test scenarios, test conditions, and test scripts.

You will be working within the Corporate Applications organization, Business System Analyst will be responsible for implementing and supporting technology solutions enabling Oracle Application finance (Procure to Pay, GL). The primary focus for this position will be gathering business requirements, assisting in Integration and Acceptance Testing, supporting and development of training and implementation material, participating and leading in the implementation, and providing post-implementation support globally. The person will be responsible for leading Procure to Pay and accounting area and may lead contractors on projects. You will partner closely with relevant Procure to Pay and other finance process owners, application developers and other Corporate Applications team members to deliver global solutions with an objective of optimizing processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure the ERP system meets these needs effectively.
- Identify system gaps and design solutions to address business process gaps, utilizing industry-standard processes or customization.
- Configuring and maintaining ERP software and processes based on business needs (P2P, T&E, CLM).
- Understanding of upstream and downstream systems and collaborating with relevant teams to integrate systems with Yahoo ERP/EPM systems.
- Areas of expertise include Onboarding, Vendor qualification, Contract management, sourcing, iProcurement, Purchasing, P2P portal, T&E, OCGL, FAH, etc.
- Providing training and technical support to ERP system users.
- Creating and maintaining system documentation, including detailed descriptions of system workflows, user guides, and training materials.
- Diagnosing and resolving system problems, including working with software vendors when necessary.
- Continually researching and recommending ways to optimize the ERP system.
- Ensure data integrity in ERP systems.
- Work with Procure to Pay and accounting business process owners and relevant Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements to technology solutions related to Vendor management, Vendor onboarding, Vendor qualification, Contract management, sourcing, procurement, Purchasing, P2P portal, T&E, OCGL, FAH.
- Responsible for leading Procure to Pay area, supporting and optimizing the Finance platform including and not restricted to accounting applications.
- Partners with relevant Finance Process Owners to prioritize and implement enhancements.
- Lead Finance projects and contractors on projects.
- Works with operations, security and infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to Yahoo Inc. standards.
- Collect requirements for building and supporting business applications.
- Analyze and design short- and long-term solutions for the and Finance systems.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT industry work experience including finance systems analysis, solution design, and deployment using Oracle applications and/or other Major ERP systems
- 6+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP including oracle fusion experience on Vendor management, Vendor onboarding, Vendor qualification, Contract management, sourcing, OCGL, FAH and Oracle R12 experience on procurement, Purchasing and T&E systems
- Good Project management skills, planning and organization skills
- Technical knowledge like SQL, TOAD for basic troubleshooting and one-time extracts.
- Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- The candidate should have good analytical, problem-solving skills and a desire to develop new skills
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language to end users and Senior management
- Ability to exercise independent and autonomous judgment when dealing with competing priorities and initiatives, while keeping management well informed of issues, progress, status and resolution
- Ability to lead projects and project team
- Responsive to customer needs and highly motivated to improve the processes of the organization. A team player outlook with the ability to work well with peers. Strong prioritization, communication and multi-tasking skills a must as the environment is fast paced and dynamic
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with credibility at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience

The compensation for this position ranges from $98,250.00 - $204,375.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
