Job Summary
The Sr. Director, SAP Reporting Data Transformation Lead is a critical role for NBCUniversal’s Finance Transformation initiative, Project Keystone, utilizing SAP S/4HANA. This position involves working with global Finance and Technology teams, actively participating in the finance digital transformation from design to deployment. The role focuses on remediating and retrofitting BW historical reporting with the new SAP S/4 code block, acting as a liaison between technical data conversion teams and business unit validators to ensure accurate and timely validation of historical reporting data.
Must Have
- Lead conversion efforts for BW, AOE, and BPC data with strong finance knowledge

- Act as primary contact for technical teams and BUs for data conversion activities

- Manage Project Keystone program activities related to data conversion/validation
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Partner with system integrator, Finance Data Operations, Reporting & Analytics, and S/4 Universal Journal data lead
- Provide guidance to BUs on validation processes and issue resolution
- Maintain centralized documentation of validation results, reconciliation reports, and remediation actions
- Communicate identified defects to program colleagues
- Provide regular status updates and escalate risks or issues promptly
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Information Management Systems
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- 5+ years of professional work experience in an SAP ecosystem
- Strong understanding of BW, AOE, and BPC data structures
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement data reconciliation and validation procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Sr. Director, SAP Reporting Data Transformation Lead is a critical role for NBCUniversal’s Finance Transformation initiative “Project Keystone.” Project Keystone uses SAP S/4HANA as the enabling technology for this transformation. This position will work with colleagues across the global NBCU Finance and Technology organizations, playing an active role in our finance digital transformation from design to deployment. As part of this transformation from ECC to S/4, NBCU has transformed its code block (ie. Profit Centers, Cost Centers, etc.) and will need a strong finance minded colleague to assist in remediating and retrofitting our BW historical reporting with the new code block.
This role will have the opportunity to act as the central liaison between technical data conversion teams and business unit validators. Serving as a critical link between the program and the business validators, you will ensure accurate and timely validation of our historical reporting out of BW as it is remediated to include our new SAP S/4 code block (ie. Profit Centers, Cost Centers, etc.). This role is considered mission critical to our success managing deliverables around data conversion & validation, overseeing reconciliation procedures, and ensuring all BUs actively participate in validation and remediation activities for BW data, AOE, and BPC data.
Responsibilities:
Data Validation & Reconciliation:
- Lead with strong finance knowledge conversion efforts for BW data, AOE, and BPC data.
- Ensure compliance with data standards and integrity across these systems.
- Drive and oversee the data reconciliation procedure to ensure completeness and accuracy of converted data.
- Coordinate with BUs to perform data validation and ensure timely remediation of discrepancies identified during reconciliation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for business unit representatives and validators for questions around the reconciliation/validation procedure.
Program Governance, Coordination, and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and BUs for all BW, AOE and BPC data conversion activities.
- Ensure the end-to-end integrated plan is supporting Reporting and Analytics data conversion execution and validation.
- Responsible for Project Keystone program management activities related to these data conversion/validation activities working closely with the S/4 data migration lead and RAA functional lead.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Partner closely with system integrator, the Finance Data Operations team, Reporting & Analytics workstream, and counterpart Data Conversion Lead for S/4 Universal Journal data.
- Provide guidance and support to BUs on validation processes and issue resolution.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain centralized documentation of validation results, reconciliation reports, and remediation actions.
- Demonstrate understanding of defects identified by validators and effectively communicate to program colleagues.
- Provide regular status updates to project leadership and escalate risks or issues promptly.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Information Management Systems and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- 5+ years of professional work experience in an SAP ecosystem, preferably data conversion and reporting transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of BW, AOE, and BPC data structures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to design and implement data reconciliation and validation procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Characteristics:
- 5+ years of relevant media industry experience preferred.
This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
