Team Description
This role is part of the Product Support & Consulting Services team within Sabre’s Lodging, Ground & Sea (LGS) organization. The team is responsible for ensuring high-quality supplier integrations into Sabre’s travel marketplace, focusing on content accuracy, system stability, and performance across Lodging and Car suppliers. The role collaborates closely with Product Management, Supplier Sales Account Management, Global Product Development (GPD), and external technical teams.
Role and Responsibilities
As an API Certification Analyst, you will lead the validation, certification, and continuous improvement of supplier API integrations for Lodging and Car content. You will ensure suppliers meet Sabre’s standards for functionality, performance, and data integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead API certification and validation processes for Lodging and Car suppliers.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test suites using Postman, Newman, Selenium, and Python.
- Develop and enhance modern test automation frameworks to improve coverage, repeatability, and speed.
- Retrieve and analyze production and staging data from BigQuery to design realistic test cases, identify anomalies, and create break testing scenarios.
- Collaborate with internal Product, Development, and Operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Provide technical guidance to supplier developers during onboarding, testing, and certification phases.
- Document certification results, technical findings, and process improvements in a structured format.
- Participate in regression testing, readiness assessments, and post-release validation cycles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to automation scripts, tools, and workflows.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in API testing, QA automation, or system integration.
- Experience in travel technology, Lodging, or Car connectivity environments is preferred.
- API Expertise: Strong understanding of SOAP/XML and REST/JSON APIs, schemas, payloads, and debugging techniques.
- Automation Tools: Experience with Postman, Newman, Selenium, Python; CI/CD integration knowledge is a plus.
- Data Analysis: Knowledge in SQL and experience with BigQuery or similar tools for test data generation and analysis.
- Break Testing: Ability to design edge-case and failure-mode scenarios to validate system resilience.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Customer Orientation: Ability to work effectively with supplier technical teams to ensure high-quality connectivity.
- Communication: Clear and structured communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Collaboration: Proven success in global, cross-functional environments.
- Continuous Improvement: Passion for automation, data-driven testing, and operational excellence.
