Sr Technical Artist II

We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Senior Technical Artist II to join our technical art team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of art and technology, and who is passionate about delivering visually compelling and technically sound game experiences. You will work closely with artists, designers, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of assets and maintain high-quality visual standards across our games. Responsibilities include addressing technical art implementation, driving visual fidelity solutions, optimizing assets, troubleshooting issues, collaborating on new features, supporting junior artists, documenting workflows, and building custom tooling.

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in game development or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
• Experience with game development pipelines, preferably in slot or casual games.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Perforce, Github) and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Solid understanding of animation principles, composition structures, and asset optimization.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Unity, GLSL shaders, or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

What You'll Do:

• Be the go-to person for addressing any critical technical art implementation to ensure that asset creation follows accurate guidelines.
• Drive technical solutions to achieve high visual fidelity while balancing hardware limitations.
• Prepare and optimize visual assets for integration into the game engine.
• Troubleshoot and resolve visual or technical issues during development and testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers and artists to implement new game features and UI compositions.
• Support onboarding and training of junior Technical Artists.
• Contribute to the documentation and ongoing enhancement of workflows.
• Find opportunities to build custom tooling that empowers the technical art team.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in game development or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
