As part of the System Experience team, you will help revolutionize how people use Apple devices by improving the digital wellbeing experience for all iPhone, iPad, and Mac users. This role involves collaborating with engineers, cross-functional teams, and designers to deliver top-tier system experiences. You will be responsible for evolving and realizing the technical vision for Screen Time, breaking down complex technical challenges, and mentoring junior engineers. Your work will directly impact billions of users by facilitating healthy habits and intentional boundaries on their devices.
Must Have
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit/Objective-C experience
- High-quality, performant, and maintainable code

Job Description
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent skills and work experience
- Track record of success — you have 10+ years of SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit/Objective-C software engineering experience with impact to show for it
- Stellar engineering quality & output — you separate concerns and define well-abstracted interfaces, delivering performant, well-tested, maintainable code with appropriate failure modes
- Technical leadership — you exemplify “what good looks like” in code, in documentation, making and delivering on commitments, and prioritization
- Critical thinking with influence — you systematically evaluate the tradeoffs associated with each potential solution to a problem, make an informed decision, and articulate these things well to influence others, driving impact
