The New Business Initiatives team drives Agoda's success by providing strategic insights for new ventures. This internship offers hands-on project management experience, from planning to evaluation, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget. Interns will manage project scope, schedule, resources, and risks, while leading teams and communicating with stakeholders, gaining real-world exposure and mentorship.

Must Have

  • Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student or below and will maintain student status throughout the internship period.
  • Available to participate in the internship program from 22nd of May to 31st July 2026 (10-week program)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Formulas and functions
  • Great English communication skills in both spoken and written forms
  • Structured logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong numerical acumen
  • Positive attitude and openness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment

Good to Have

  • Experienced with Financial modeling and analysis
  • Microsoft Excel: Macros and VBA programming for automation

The New Business Initiatives team is a critical driver of the Finance department’s success, balancing innovation, and growth with smart risk management. The team provides strategic insights to business leaders in the pursuit of launching new initiatives in a sustainable and scalable manner, aims to provide world class execution for projects and serves as a vibrant learning ground for people, providing a pulse check on every strategic initiative pursues.

The opportunity:

Gain hands-on experience in project management from planning, organizing and evaluating assigned projects to ensure that goals are met, delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Interns get to manage the project's scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks, while also leading the project team and communicating with stakeholders to ensure project success. Interns gain exposure to real-world business projects and receive mentorship from experienced professionals. You will build a strong foundation for a future career in project management or related fields within a dynamic and supportive environment.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and evaluating assigned projects to ensure successful delivery in line with established goals and standards.
  • Manage and monitor project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks, ensuring all aspects are aligned for project success.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, fostering collaboration and clear communication among all members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Document and adhere to project management processes using established templates and guidelines, including the Project Charter, Project Kick-Off, Project Timeline, Project Status Reports, and Project Readouts.
  • Collaborate across teams and ensure alignment with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll need to succeed:
