Job Summary
CAE GmbH, a subsidiary of a global leader in simulation and training technology for pilots and flight personnel, develops, produces, and supports advanced flight and land simulation devices. With approximately 500 employees in Germany, the company operates in international teams. The Cost Center Controller will support cost center planning, monitor and analyze cost developments related to CAE GmbH's hourly rates, ensure correct cost allocation and documentation, and assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Must Have
- Support in maintaining and controlling the cost center structure in the ERP system
- Support in planning, monitoring, and analyzing cost centers
- Assistance with target-actual comparisons, variance analyses, and profitability calculations
- Close cooperation with departments for cost control and budget compliance
- Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support for external audits (BAAINBw, district government, auditors)
- Assistance in preparing forecasts and budgets
- Assistance in preparing reports, presentations, and decision templates for management
- Assistance in financial analyses and developing solution recommendations for identified problems
- Assistance in implementing innovative solutions for various processes
- Assistance in pilot projects for process optimization, including AI integration
- Successfully completed 3-year commercial training
- 1-3 years of professional experience in controlling / finance
Good to Have
- Experienced handling of MS-Office applications, especially Excel
- Initial knowledge of reporting tools like Hyperion

Objective of the position:
The Cost Center Controller (m/f/d) supports cost center planning, as well as the monitoring and analysis of cost developments, especially in connection with the hourly rates of CAE GmbH. The tasks also include ensuring the correct allocation and documentation of costs, as well as assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Your profile:
- Successfully completed 3-year commercial training
- 1-3 years of professional experience in controlling / finance, ideally in an internationally active company
- Experienced handling of MS-Office applications, especially Excel desirable
- Initial knowledge of reporting tools like Hyperion desirable
- Good knowledge of German in spoken and written word
- Good knowledge of English in spoken and written word
- Good communication skills
