Job Summary
The Logistic Support Administrator provides comprehensive logistic support, including engineering support, identifying requirements for spare parts, facilities, and equipment for simulator training systems. This role involves performing logistics provisioning, documentation research, creating standard operating procedures, managing procurement processes, and coordinating international shipments. The administrator will also oversee CMMS database implementation, asset tracking, and obsolescence risk management to ensure continued system supportability.
Must Have
- Provide logistic support for simulator training systems.
- Perform logistics provisioning and documentation research and analyses.
- Create standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Interface with Logistics Manager, Program Managers, and Project Engineers.
- Create requisitions for required components.
- Monitor and track material through the procurement process.
- Coordinate with Trade Compliance for international shipments.
- Oversee CMMS database implementation and provide technical/training support.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage risks of parts and components obsolescence.
- 1-3 years’ experience in Logistics or a related technical field.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
- U.S. citizenship due to U.S. Government contract requirements.

- CLS Specialist provide logistic support such as providing engineering support, identifying requirements for spare and repair parts, facilities, materiel, and equipment, in support of personnel performing maintenance, training, and upkeep on delivered simulator training systems.
- Perform logistics provisioning and documentation research and analyses providing recommendations and/or deliverable products supporting contractual logistics requirements.
- Create standard operating procedures and work instructions related to assigned duties.
- Interface with Logistics Manager, Program Managers, Project Engineers and other design/system engineers.
- Creates requisitions for required components in support of CLS sites.
- Monitor procurement processes / activities to ensure expeditious processing of material.
- Track material through procurement process from program request through delivery to site.
- Coordinates with Trade Compliance for shipping documentation data required for international shipments
- Displays good judgment and creativity in solving complex logistics technical problems and provides detailed recommendations.
- Oversees the implementation of CMMS database for CLS sites, ensuring technical and training support in the areas of training system maintenance, creation of work orders, asset tracking information, inventory, and preventative maintenance scheduling.
- Focuses on identifying, mitigating, and managing the risks of parts and components becoming obsolete, ensuring continued system supportability and minimizing costs
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Position requires a 2-year professional degree in a single discipline with typically 1-3 years of related experience. 4-year Military experience in lieu of 2-year degree acceptable.
