The NBA Atlassian Administrator will administer, configure, and maintain Atlassian applications like Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, and JSM. Responsibilities include managing user accounts, customizing Jira projects, implementing automation, performing upgrades, and supporting Agile/Scrum methodologies. The role requires troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with IT, DevOps, and Product teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT, with 3+ years of experience as a Jira/Confluence/Atlassian Administrator, strong understanding of Jira workflows, and experience with Atlassian Cloud Administration.

Must Have

• Administer, configure, and maintain Atlassian applications (Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, JSM, etc.)
• Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and workflows
• Customize Jira projects workflows, issue types, fields, screens, and dashboards
• Implement automation rules, integrations, and plugins/add-ons
• Perform upgrades, backups, and migrations between environments (Cloud / Data Center)
• Support project teams in using Atlassian tools for Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Work closely with IT, DevOps, and Product teams
• Troubleshoot performance or configuration issues and resolve system-level problems
• Maintain documentation, governance standards, and best practices for tool usage
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders for tool enhancements and license management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira/Confluence/Atlassian Administrator
• Strong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, and automation
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud Administration (preferred) or Data Center version
• Good understanding of Agile / Scrum / ITIL processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have

• Knowledge of ScriptRunner, Insight (Assets), or Advanced Roadmaps
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and integrations with CI/CD or ITSM tools
