Job Summary

FRAMEN GmbH is seeking a motivated (Senior) Finance Manager to join their international team in Berlin. This full-time role involves internal accounting, reporting, invoicing, process automation, and policy development. The position offers insights into various areas and excellent development opportunities. Responsibilities include supporting month/quarter-end closings, creating customer invoices, collaborating with external accountants, contributing to finance projects, and assisting with corporate finance and internal accounting.

Must Have

  • Support month and quarter-end closings and internal financial reporting
  • Create and review customer invoices (national and international) and communicate directly with customers regarding invoice matters
  • Collaborate with external accounting firms at home and abroad, support intercompany reconciliations, consolidation, and review of financial statements
  • Contribute to finance projects for process improvement and digitalization
  • Support Corporate Finance, Controlling, and internal Accounting
  • Prepare analyses, stakeholder reports, and management presentations
  • Participate in developing internal guidelines and policies
  • Support tax environment in classifying and defining internal business processes
  • Completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics or comparable
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Accounting, Audit or Finance
  • Sound understanding of Finance, Accounting, and Controlling processes
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work ethic
  • High self-motivation, willingness to learn, and enjoyment of dynamic environments
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English

Good to Have

  • Experience in a Big 4 company or consulting is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ThinkCell or Analysis for Office is an advantage
  • Experience with SAP FI or similar ERP systems is an advantage

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and committed personality to strengthen our Finance team as a (Senior) Finance & Accounting Associate (m/f/x).

In this versatile and practice-oriented role, you will work at the interface between Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations – with a focus on internal accounting, reporting, invoicing processes, process automation, and policy development.

You will be part of an international team, gain insights into numerous subject areas, and have excellent development opportunities to grow professionally and personally.

  • Support for monthly and quarterly closings as well as internal financial reporting
  • Creation and review of customer invoices (national and international) and direct communication with customers regarding invoice matters
  • Collaboration with external accounting firms at home and abroad, as well as support for intercompany reconciliations, consolidation, and review of financial statements
  • Participation in finance projects for process improvement and digitalization (e.g., automation of invoicing, cost allocation, system optimizations)
  • Support in the areas of Corporate Finance, Controlling, and internal Accounting
  • Preparation of analyses, reports to stakeholders, and management presentations (Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of ThinkCell or Analysis for Office is an advantage)
  • Participation in the development of internal guidelines and policies (e.g., Travel Policy, expense regulations, discount processes, internal approval processes)
  • Support in the tax environment for the classification and definition of internal business processes (e.g., VAT setups, Tax Classification)

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics or a comparable qualification
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Accounting, Audit or Finance; experience in a Big 4 company or consulting is an advantage, but not required
  • Sound understanding of Finance, Accounting, and Controlling processes
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working with a proactive can-do attitude
  • High self-motivation, willingness to learn, and enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP FI or similar ERP systems is an advantage
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
