Awin is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Financial Analytics team. This role is crucial for shaping the company's financial future through expert data analysis and financial modelling. The Senior Financial Analyst will act as a Product Owner for financial reporting, KPIs, and modelling, requiring technical data proficiency, a finance background, and a commercial mindset. Key responsibilities include owning financial reporting, designing dashboards, collaborating with Data Engineering, managing the squad backlog, leading sprint ceremonies, and supporting strategic innovation.

Must Have

• Own and maintain financial reporting and modelling including sales, revenue, opex, personnel, subscription metrics such as ARR and CLV, new business and churn
• Act as the “first developer”, setting standards, coaching other team members and ensuring the highest quality of deliverables
• Design and implement dashboards, reports and models that support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Collaborate closely with other squads across Data Engineering to ingest and model necessary data
• Manage the squad backlog: refine requirements, prioritize user stories, ensure clarity and alignment with stakeholders
• Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Serve as the first point of contact for business stakeholders to capture operational requirements and translate them into development tasks
• Support Manager in vision / strategy, roadmap planning and leading innovation such as the incorporation of new tools or methods such as AI / ML
• At least five years in Financial or Business Analytics
• Product Ownership / Squad Leadership experience and knowledge of Accounting / Finance
• Analytical, pro-active and inquisitive, with a proven ability to take ownership and generate valuable new ideas
• Exceptional communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance, Business or Analytics related field
• Expertise with SQL and Tableau is essential
• Fluent English

Skills & Expertise

• Product Ownership / Squad Leadership experience and knowledge of Accounting / Finance

• Exceptional communication skills the candidate needs to be able to shift seamlessly from talking technical details with engineers to talking strategy with management
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance, Business or Analytics related field
• Expertise with SQL and Tableau is essential
• Fluent English
