Job Summary
Become part of the social media editorial team and support our YouTube project as a working student. In the social media team, we focus on YouTube and present our journalistic content in a modern and understandable way. We analyze trends, accompany current events live, and prepare news so that it unfolds its full effect on YouTube – without losing journalistic depth. Our goal is to explain complex topics clearly, inspire our community, and reach millions of people with high-quality video journalism. Teamwork, creative exchange, and a joy for innovation are central to us to get the best out of YouTube.
Must Have
- Support in selecting videos and interactive storytelling elements to complement reporting
- Edit and process videos for optimal YouTube performance
- Analyze video performance and implement improvement measures
- Accompany breaking news situations to stay close to the action
- Studying in a relevant field, e.g., Media, Journalism, Communication
- Proficient in editing software like Premiere Pro
- Open to new technologies and good understanding of AI applications
- Very good German and English language skills
Good to Have
- Initial practical experience with social media and video platforms
- Knowledge of Photoshop

What you will move with us:
- you support in the selection of videos and interactive storytelling elements to complement reporting
- cut and edit videos so that content performs optimally on YouTube
- analyze the performance of videos and implement measures for improvement
- accompany breaking news situations so that we are close to the action
What you bring:
- you are studying in a relevant field, e.g., media, journalism, communication or similar
- ideally, you already have initial practical experience with social media and video platforms
- you are proficient in editing software like Premiere Pro, knowledge of Photoshop is advantageous
- you are open to new technologies and have a good understanding of how to use AI applications
- you have very good German and English language skills
