Job Description
Summer Internship: Art_Shader/Procedural Modeling. This internship involves supporting art-related tasks using Blender and Houdini, creating tools, developing shaders using HLSL, and managing vegetation using SpeedTree. Candidates will be responsible for at least one of these tasks. Essential skills include experience with procedural tool creation in Blender Geometry Nodes or Houdini, shader creation for game engines, and SpeedTree usage. Modeling skills in Blender are also required. Additional beneficial skills include basic programming understanding (C/C++, HLSL, Python), adaptability to new tools, interest in plants, strong communication and collaboration skills. The internship runs from June 30, 2025 to August 22, 2025, at Pearl Abyss's headquarters in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Must have:
- Blender Geometry Nodes or Houdini procedural tools
- Game engine shader creation (HLSL)
- SpeedTree experience
- Blender modeling skills
Good to have:
- Programming (C/C++, HLSL, Python)
- Adaptability to new tools
- Interest in plants
- Excellent communication & collaboration

담당업무
- Blender, Houdini를 이용한 아트 관련 작업 기술 지원 툴 제작
- HLSL을 통한 엔진 셰이더 제작
- SpeedTree를 활용한 식생 제작 및 관리
※ 위 업무 중 1개 이상을 담당하게 됩니다.
필수 경험 및 역량
- Blender geometry node 혹은 Houdini로 Procedural 툴을 제작해보신 분
- 상용 엔진으로 셰이더를 직접 제작해봤거나 개념에 대해 잘 아시는 분
- SpeedTree를 사용한 경험이 있으신 분
- Blender를 사용하여 모델링이 가능 하신 분
※ 담당 업무에 따라 필수 경험 및 역량이 다르게 적용됩니다.
우대사항
- 프로그래밍에 대한 기본 이해도(C/C++, HLSL, Python 등 코드를 읽거나 간단한 스크립팅 작성이 가능하신 분)
- 새로운 툴에 대해 열려 있고 습득이 빠르신 분
- 식물에 관심이 있으신 분
- 공감 능력이 뛰어나고 의사소통이 원활하며 협업이 능숙하신 분
