The Planning Analyst is responsible for owning a supply chain link's planning. Responsibilities include developing, integrating, optimizing, coordinating, and executing engineering/production planning schedules, forecasts, materials, build plans, and capacity requirements. This role also involves managing business and inventory strategies to meet business and customer needs in collaboration with supply chain stakeholders. The analyst will conduct scenario planning for engineering, product, processes, and inventory strategies, influencing issue resolution using data-driven decision-making. They will apply LEAN principles for continuous improvement, manage new product planning readiness, and support engineering activities and factory qualifications. Ensuring healthy engineering/customer sample supply through coordinating the engineering build plan management process is also a key responsibility, including managing die/material/capacity availability and resolving line execution issues to maintain new product milestones.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Highly proficient in English communication (written, verbal, presentation)

Job Description: 

  • Planning Analyst is responsible for planning ownership of a supply chain link.

  • Responsibilities may include development, integration, optimization, coordination, communication and driving execution of engineering/production planning schedules, forecast, materials, build plan and capacity requirements, and business and inventory strategies to meet business and customer requirements in collaboration with cross organizational supply chain stakeholders.

  • May also conducts scenario (what-if) planning for engineering, product, processes, and inventory strategies when necessary.

  • Influencing/recommending issues resolution strategies in supply chain areas using data driven decision making across appropriate Key Stakeholder and Management Levels.

  • Applying LEAN in driving continuous process/project improvements.

  • Manage a group of new products under the business segments to ensure Planning readiness and supporting successful engineering activities and factory qualifications.

  • Own to ensure healthy engineering/customer samples supply to meet demand thru coordinating the Engineering build plan management process to stakeholders, includes ensuring die/material/capacity availability.

  • Participate in line execution issue (induced by Planning) and work out solution to ensure smooth factory execution and no impact to New Product Milestone.

  • Adequate technical capabilities that will help to develop projects that will help in business process and product management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering

  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
