Intel's Corporate Planning Group (CPG) is seeking a New Product Planner to coordinate and manage product line startup activities from engineering to production, ensuring a smooth transition to high volume manufacturing. This role involves developing optimized supply plans, monitoring product flow, creating supply forecasts, and performing risk analysis. The planner will also drive new product naming, BOM creation, and routing requirements, applying advanced analytics to optimize inventory and material strategies while interacting with cross-functional stakeholders.
Must Have
- Coordinate and startup activities for a product line from engineering to production.
- Ensure smooth transition from new product introduction to high volume manufacturing.
- Collect and organize data from multiple sources.
- Develop optimized supply plans and monitor product flow.
- Create supply forecast, run and report ‘what if’ analyses.
- Drive new product naming, BOM creation, and routing requirements.
- Collect and scrub engineering and marketing sample demand.
- Perform analysis of manufacturing risks, capacity utilization, inventory levels, and customer demand.
- Apply advanced analytics and optimization modeling.
- Effectively interact and manage cross functional stakeholders worldwide.
- Understand supply chain strategies and technical details of CPU engineering programs.
- 2+ years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management.
- 2+ years of experience working with data analysis in Microsoft Excel.

Intel's Corporate Planning Group (CPG) aims to build a comprehensive operating plan that leverages internal and external manufacturing for Intel's growth. We emphasize data-driven innovation and results, ensuring we meet customer demands and financial targets. In New Product Development Planning we play a key role in the product development teams (PDT) for products from early design to product launch. We execute in a fast-paced dynamic environment that lays the path for products to go to revenue.
The New Product Planner will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- The coordination and startup activities for a product line from engineering to production and ensuring a smooth transition from new product introduction to high volume manufacturing.
- Collecting and organizing data from multiple sources, developing optimized supply plans, and monitoring product flow to ensure product commits are met on time, in the correct amount, and in the correct configuration.
- Creating supply forecast, running and reporting ‘what if’ analyses.
- Driving new product naming, BOM creation, and routing requirements through product planning systems setup activities.
- Collecting and scrubbing engineering and marketing sample demand against product supply forecast.
- Ensuring required information is consolidated, organized, presented, and readily available for downstream activities.
- Performing analysis of manufacturing risks, capacity utilization, manufacturing scheduling inventory levels, engineering requirements and customer demand and/or delivery expectations for product start up through product stabilization.
- Applying advanced analytics and optimization modeling to find patterns and relationships in data to help optimize inventory, material, and create supply strategies
- Effectively interacting and managing cross functional stakeholders worldwide.
- Understanding both supply chain strategies and technical details of CPU engineering programs.
- Role modeling Lean culture.
- Identifying and driving process improvements based on thorough understanding of the business processes and supply chain dependencies.
- Communicate, explain, and clarify complex process issues with the customer business groups divisions and translate business requirements.
- Help develop processes and tools for a new manufacturing flow and product configuration.
- Act as an interface to tool teams representing tool and process requirements.

This is an Intel Contract Employee (ICE) position and relocation will not be provided. This is a 12-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension. Extension is subject to mutual agreement between the candidate and the business.
Qualifications:
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in:
- Demand/Supply Planning and/or Supply Chain Management and/or Project Management
- Working with data analysis in Microsoft Excel
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, Management Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data analytics or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in any of the following:
- Demand/Supply Planning and/or Supply Chain Management and/or Project Management, working on process and tool improvement projects or working with data analysis in Microsoft Excel
- Working on process and tool improvement projects
- Experience in semiconductor or high-tech industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite/365 with a deep understanding and application of Excel, Data Management/Analytics, Power BI.
- Demand/Supply Planning or Supply Chain Management in high technology
- Experience building and presenting dashboards/charts/graphs

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $52,000.00-$200,000.00
