Job Summary
This role in Intel's Edge Computing Group focuses on product support and enabling, aiming to accelerate customer differentiation through world-class support. Responsibilities include providing technical support for Intel products, developing and implementing design/validation tools, evaluating new software/hardware, creating technical collateral, and collaborating with internal/external teams. The engineer will also partner with customer R&D and manufacturing for smooth product ramps, manage board retest/archival, and support the RAND PAE Project logistics.
Must Have
- Provide technical support for solutions incorporating Intel products and technologies.
- Develop and implement product design, development, and validation tools.
- Evaluate, design, and develop new software and hardware fixtures.
- Create product specifications, hardware design guides, and application notes.
- Collaborate with internal and external silicon, hardware, and software teams.
- Partner with customer R&D and manufacturing for product ramp.
- Support Board Retest and Archival.
- Lead and support RAND PAE Project.
- Manage logistics for DHL movement and archive cold storage.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering.
- Familiarity with x86 CPU and chipset architecture, embedded systems, computer system/board designs.
- Experience in Windows and Linux OS level platform debug.
- Technical documentation, requirement definition, and design skills.
- Customer support, troubleshooting, and good communication skills.
- Familiarity with circuit design/theory, electrical components.
- Hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, analyzers, multimeter).

In this position, you will be part of Intel Edge Computing Group, working in Product Support and Enabling Team. ECG Product Support and Enabling Team always strive to make our world a better place using Intel technology in partnership with our external customers with the top mission to accelerate our customers and partners to differentiate through our world class support and services.
Responsibilities for this position include the followings:
- Provides technical support for solutions that incorporate one or more Intel products and technologies, drivers solution design ensuring time-to-market readiness, transforms opportunities to design and production wins, and enables ecosystem and industry partners for platform solution readiness
- Develops and implements product design, development, and validation tools and provides technical and issue resolution support during development, testing, and production
- Evaluates, designs, and develops new software and hardware fixtures and utilizes tools during project deployment to validate and optimize product quality and performance.
- Creates product specifications, hardware design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral.
- Collaborates and enables internal and external silicone, hardware, and software teams to deliver latest products in the market.
- Partners with customer RnD and manufacturing to ensure smooth product ramp through integrating customer requirements, mitigating customer factory challenges, delivering product training, and provide health oversight with rapid technical support and systematic improvement action.
- Board Retest and Archival Support.
- Lead and support the RAND PAE Project, including board retest and kitting, HW checklist, PAE Portal maintenance, and documentation.
- Manage logistics for DHL movement and oversee archive cold storage reconciliation.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply, less than 2 years' experience can also be considered.
- Familiar with x86 CPU and chipset architecture, embedded systems, computer system/board designs.
- Experience in Windows and Linux OS level platform debug.
- Technical Documentation, Technical Requirement Definition and Design
- Customer Support, troubleshooting, and good communication skill.
- Familiar with circuit design/ circuit theory, understanding of electrical component and characteristics.
- Familiar/ Hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, analyzers, multimeter).
- Excellence in English communication (verbal and written) with ability to work with diverse set of stakeholders (eg. Marketing, Silicon Design Engineers/Architect, Validation Engineers and Customers)
- Team player and able to interact with different internal and external stake holders
