Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect to lead the development and governance of a modern enterprise architecture environment. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and resilient systems; defining architectural standards; integrating advanced technologies; and enabling digital products, data workflows, and AI-powered services across cloud environments. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework and roadmap, aligning technology solutions with business strategy, modernizing legacy components, and reducing technical debt.
Must Have
- Lead development and governance of enterprise architecture.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
- Define architectural standards and integrate advanced technologies.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
- Manage and optimize Azure subscriptions, ensuring security compliance.
- Maintain IaC pipelines for automated deployment.
- Configure secure environments for digital products and AI services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7 years in software, system, or cloud architecture.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with architects.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with microservices, cloud-native design, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in API design and integration (REST, GraphQL).
- Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD automation, IaC.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, NIST EA).
- Understanding of security standards (OWASP).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Visio, or project management platforms.

- Experience working in public health, data-intensive, or mission-driven environments.
- Background collaborating with international, cross-organizational, or multi-stakeholder teams.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Develop and maintain enterprise/application architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
- Design end-to-end infrastructure and application architectures.
- Produce architecture diagrams and comprehensive system documentation.
- Modernize legacy components, reduce technical debt, and enforce architecture standards.
Cloud Environment Management (Azure)
- Manage and optimize a dedicated Azure subscription.
- Ensure compliance with security and infrastructure standards.
- Maintain IaC pipelines for automated deployment and configuration.
- Implement cost optimization strategies.
Digital Products & AI Enablement
- Configure secure, scalable environments for hosting digital products.
- Deploy and manage open-source, custom, and commercial tools.
- Enable AI services including model endpoints, vector databases, and AI orchestration tools.
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software architecture, system design, or cloud architecture roles.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and collaborating with enterprise and solution architects.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and supporting modern DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
