SageCor Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 1 (FST - 035) to serve Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area. The role involves providing complete engineering services and full lifecycle System Engineering. Applicants must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Responsibilities include experience with standard development processes and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Gitlab; understanding of the software development lifecycle and systems engineering processes, including requirements management and prioritization; implementing Agile processes in Jira; managing technical engineering documentation like design documents, system and dataflow diagrams, requirements, and test procedures; and experience with security and compliance certification processes.

Good To Have:

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with systems monitoring
AWS cloud services experience
Language analysis/linguist mission experience
Experience with 508 accessibility compliance

Must Have:

Experience with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab
Understanding of SDLC and systems engineering
Experience with Agile processes in Jira
Experience managing technical documentation
Experience with security and compliance certification

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Required Skills:
• Experience with standard development process, issue tracking, and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Gitlab)
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and systems engineering processes, requirements management and prioritization
• Experience with implementing Agile processes in Jira using Boards, Dashboards, and Plans
• Experience with managing technical engineering documentation: design documents, system and dataflow diagrams, requirements, test procedures, etc.
• Experience with security and compliance certification process and required artifacts

Desired Skills:
• Experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience with systems monitoring and sustainment processes
• AWS cloud services experience
• Language analysis / linguist mission experience
• Experience with 508 accessibility compliance
