Job Summary
We are looking for our future TD Supervisor to manage and develop our teams of technical experts in digital creation. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you will hold an essential position for the performance and evolution of our technical structure. Your role is not limited to technical aspects. You will drive the organization and mentoring of TD teams, acting to anticipate and resolve complex issues that directly impact production. Key missions include team and performance management, technical and operational management, and communication and functional relationships.
Must Have
- Manage and mentor lead and technical expert teams, demonstrating strong leadership to improve collective productivity.
- Ensure team performance and achievement of departmental objectives (efficiency, quality, deadlines).
- Define performance expectations for direct subordinates, in collaboration with the technological project monitoring team.
- Propose the budget and human resources needed to achieve objectives, and be proactive in the organization and evolution of the team structure.
- Make autonomous decisions for your teams, respecting internal procedures and strategic objectives.
- Identify and resolve complex manufacturing and technical issues, acting with a strong capacity for anticipation.
- Implement and guarantee processes to reduce the cost of production incidents.
- Ensure the maintenance and reliability of tools already in production.
- Perform constant technological watch in the animation film sector and new technologies.
- Communicate proactively and develop constructive working relationships with manufacturing team managers (Production, Fabrication, etc.).
- Provide quality and concise reporting that enables strategic levels to make informed decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of the animation film production pipeline.
- Experience in a similar role or at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a Lead TD role.
- Proficiency in common DCCs such as Maya, Nuke, Photoshop, etc.
- Proficiency in Python (2 and 3) and knowledge of current development methods.
- Experience using production tracking tools such as Flow (Shotgrid).
- Proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
- Strong ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Inspiring leadership and mentoring: you motivate teams and provide the necessary mentoring for their progression.
- Collaborative approach: you encourage constructive teamwork in problem-solving.
- Rigor and reporting: ability to set clear performance expectations and provide concise communication for decision-making.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Contract: CDDU (intermittent)
Start date: between early December 2025 and January 2026 at the latest
Modality: on-site with occasional remote work possible
Location: Paris 13th
Compensation: between 62 and 67K€ gross/year
