Job Summary
This position is for a highly skilled Bilingual Technical Architect to work onsite at a client location in Japan, focusing on a strategic Medical Digital Transformation initiative. The role involves collaborating closely with Japanese stakeholders to design, develop, and integrate Cloud-based, AI-driven, and Digital Healthcare solutions. Key responsibilities include optimizing cloud-native architectures, implementing APIs and microservices, and developing AI/ML models for medical applications, ensuring compliance with medical software standards and acting as a bilingual bridge.
Must Have
- Experience in digital transformation projects within medical/healthcare domain
- Hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience in AI/ML-based solution design or integration
- Experience in any one front end technologies (preferably React JS)
- Experience in any one back-end technologies (preferably Java)
- Experience in Database Management (preferably non-SQL)
- Experience with Software Architecture and Design Patterns & Web Frameworks
Good to Have
- Experience with medical device software development (IEC 62304 knowledge is a plus)
- Experience in data engineering or medical data pipelines
- Knowledge in cybersecurity for medical/healthcare systems
- Experience working in Japanese medical OEM environment
- Understanding of DICOM, HL7, FHIR standards

Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Bilingual Technical Architect to work onsite at our client location in Japan (Haken deployment) for a strategic Medical Digital Transformation initiative. The engineer will work closely with Japanese stakeholders to design, develop, and integrate Cloud-based, AI-driven, and Digital Healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work onsite with client’s engineering and product teams to support medical digital solution development
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native architectures, APIs, and microservices
- Develop and integrate AI/ML models for medical imaging, diagnostics, workflow automation, or patient data analytics
- Participate in requirement discussions, solution proposals, and architecture reviews with Japanese stakeholders
- Support system deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with medical software standards, data security, and privacy regulations
- Act as a bilingual bridge between client and offshore/global teams

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or digital solution development
- Experience in digital transformation projects within medical/healthcare domain
