Job Summary

SciPlay is looking for a highly skilled Technical Artist to shape their game and establish a pipeline for maintaining and creating mobile Graphical Assets. The role involves working with artists and programmers to integrate assets into the Unity Editor, profiling game performance, identifying problematic areas, and creating solutions for various platforms. Key responsibilities include integrating assets, ensuring product quality, problem-solving, providing game status, and creating/modifying tools for mobile.

Must Have

  • Integrate assets into the game engine and build performant in-game assets.
  • Work with Studio Directors, Art Director, and Lead Programmers to ensure product quality.
  • Perform critical artistic and process decisions.
  • Provide detailed information on the game status and builds.
  • Profile app performance and render issues.
  • Create and modify existing tools, scripts, or assets for mobile.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in Unity Engine.
  • Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a 2D package (e.g., Photoshop) and sprite atlas management.
  • Experience in developing for mobile platforms.

Good to Have

  • Basic knowledge of scripting (C#).
  • Basic knowledge of Shaders.
  • Previous experience working in the gaming industry.

Job Description

Position Summary

We’re looking for a highly skilled Technical Artist to shape our game and help establish and sustain a pipeline for maintaining and creating mobile Graphical Assets. As a tech artist in Sciplay you will work along with artists and programmers to integrate assets into the mobile game. You will work from within the Unity Editor and be responsible for profiling the game & identifying problematic areas in order to create solutions for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrating assets into the game engine and building performant in-game assets.
  • work with Studio Directors, Art Director, and Lead Programmers to ensure product quality.

  • Perform critical artistic and process decisions to produce the best quality product
  • Provide detailed information on the game status and builds.
  • Profile app performance and render issues using given tools to identify problem areas and draw call issues
  • Create and modify existing tools, scripts, or assets for mobile

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in Unity Engine
  • Upper-Intermediate English (daily communication)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a 2D package, preferably Photoshop, and sprite atlas management.
  • Experience in developing the mobile platform
  • Basic knowledge of scripting (C#) – a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Shaders – a plus.
  • Previous experience working in the gaming industry – a big advantage
