1. Build and maintain character material systems to support high-quality rendering of skin, hair, and equipment modules.
2. Implement dynamic material feedback based on performance requirements (e.g., hit, battle damage, dying).
3. Support dynamic material effects for character force feedback, deformation, and special states.
4. Collaborate with character modeling, rigging, animation, and VFX teams to achieve complete visual feedback for characters in different states.
5. Optimize material structure and performance to ensure operational efficiency and visual consistency.
1. Proficient in Unreal/Unity material systems and capable of building a complete character material system.
2. Understands PBR workflow and has experience in adjusting common character materials such as skin, metal, and fabric.
3. Mastered dynamic material expression methods, such as mask-driven, decal overlay, parameter animation, and Shader effects.
4. Experienced in implementing materials related to character hit feedback, battle damage, and state performance.
5. Familiar with hair systems (e.g., Groom) material control, supporting expressions like wind movement, wetness, and dyeing.
6. Capable of achieving local dynamics through materials or simple WPO, such as muscle twitching, equipment vibration, and skin bulging.
7. Possesses good cross-departmental communication skills and can promote the overall completion of character expression.
