Job Summary:
An engineer with strong technical and language skills. The role will involve a wide range of challenging activities that cover product testing, scripting, record keeping, and working with various documentation and R&D teams. You'll need to be calm and focused to ensure that requirements are fully assessed and then develop strategies to track and deliver on those requirements against tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently writes and produces product documentation and other content to support software releases, collaborating with peers and under the supervision of more senior colleagues.
- Independently plans, organizes, and writes product documentation, also under the supervision of senior colleagues.
- Assists in defining and implementing an appropriate structure and organization for documenting one or more individual products.
- Acquires and organizes source material, including applicable specifications and engineering write-ups.
- Generates, analyzes, and acts on reports to monitor documentation completeness and quality, such as comparison reports between software and documentation, CCR reports, and other metrics.
- Maintains templates in a cross-BU environment to ensure all teams are compliant with the latest Cadence Safety standard.
- Examines and reviews multiple documents, providing guidance to peers and other tech pubs teams.
- Open-minded and receptive to feedback from various sources, including internal feedback, customer feedback, and feedback from third-party auditors. Should thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate workload assessment to others.
- Knowledge of the ISO 26262 Standard for functional safety and automotive would be beneficial.
- Produces related release collateral, including video demos, blogs, application notes, rapid adoption kits, error messages, nuggets, or man help, in collaboration with technical communications and cross-functional peers, under the supervision of senior colleagues.
- Enable other teams identified for certifications with required templates/ guide them to similar docs from other products.
- Alignment of any processes required for Safety process/certification needs.

Experience and Technical Skills required:
- Proficiency in Windows is required. Familiarity with Linux is a bonus.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Perl, and Confluence Wiki are highly valued.
- Experience with an error tracking and reporting product is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory due to interaction with a global team.
- The ability to adhere to a schedule is essential.
- The capability to identify, report, and explain defects effectively is crucial.
