Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all in-game UI development with in-house & outsourced personnel.
- Review and manage layout and motion demo design plans for game front-end and HUD, created based on a proprietary engine.
- Actively respond to and find solutions for development issues that arise during UI implementation.
- Research and advance exemplary workflows for UI development.
- Propose optimized approaches and pipelines for visual scripting from both Code and Art perspectives.
- Responsible for maintaining, managing, and creating naming conventions, art repositories, tools, and scripts for the UI development team.
- Identify and propose new technologies that affect user interaction and game design to the team.
- Planned Outsourcing Management
- Document and disseminate expertise on Workflow and Pipeline related to UI development outsourcing within and outside the team.
- Collaborate with external partners related to the assigned Feature UI, leading schedule and quality management.
- Knowledge Sharing for Innovation
- Explore advanced UI development tools and technologies to solve the team's long-term problems.
- Disseminate knowledge about your area of expertise and provide relevant mentoring to Experience Designers, Client SEs, and stakeholders within the team.
Required Skills
- Possesses excellent communication skills.
- Able to clearly organize and convey team requirements and technical constraints to both engineering and art personnel.
- Possesses excellent problem-solving skills to quickly identify and propose solutions for UI development issues.
- Has strong curiosity and interest in programming for visual animation direction and implementation.
- Has the ability to quickly learn/develop new production tools and workflows.
- Has experience with visual scripting using Unity or Unreal.
- Business English communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in producing or implementing UI-related visualization results in games or similar services (at least 7 years).
- This includes experience as a UI Artist or Client Engineer.
- Proficient in editing scripting languages such as Python.
- Proficient in Adobe Animate, Photoshop, and other graphic and animation applications.
- Experience understanding UX theory and applying it to UI development.
- Strong understanding of version control software such as Perforce.
- Holds a degree in Design or Computer Science.
- Experience with Frostbite engine.
