Technical Program Manager 4

This role involves leading critical initiatives on the strategic roadmap, engaging across Engineering, Operations, and Product Management. Responsibilities include breaking down complex projects into manageable milestones, facilitating meetings, anticipating bottlenecks, and ensuring goal alignment. Must Have

• Work with engineers on feasibility, timelines, and design
• Generate comprehensive progress reports
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities
• BS or MS in Computer Science, or any relevant technical field
• 8+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or software engineering
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex technical projects
• Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, or SaaS
• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineers
• Expertise in project/program management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, MS Project)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in ambiguity, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks

You will be responsible for leading and ensuring the successful delivery of critical initiatives on the strategic roadmap. Your role as a Program Manager will require effective engagement across Engineering, Operations, and Product Management. You will need to collaborate in technical vernacular with engineers to resolve business blockers.

• Take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable milestones to deliver against tight deadlines
• Lead and facilitate project meetings, fostering collaboration among diverse teams, and provide clear direction for alignment
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints
• Ensure that stated and unstated goals, business issues, concerns, and priorities are surfaced and understood
• Work with engineers to determine feasibility, timelines, and design for project completion within planned deadlines
• Generate comprehensive progress reports to keep stakeholders informed and make data-driven decisions
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities within processes and implement strategies to drive them

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, or any relevant technical field
• 8+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or software engineering with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex technical projects
• Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, or SaaS. Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineers
