Budge Studios is seeking a passionate and creative Technical Programmer to join their dynamic team. The role involves designing and coding features for games, creating reusable code, providing technical support, debugging, and researching new technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to developing high-quality, engaging applications for children globally, fostering a collaborative and fun work environment.

Participating in code design & architecture
Designing and coding features that will support games built by production teams
Create reusable and scalable code to decouple features from gameplay
Provide technical support to other teams for features built by the Tech Team
Debug problems affecting multiple projects at the same time
Be an ambassador for best practices and coding guidelines in the studio
Investigate new technologies and analyze usability
Conduct technical analysis of games in development built by production teams

Responsibilities:

Participating in code design & architecture;
Designing and coding features that will support games built by production teams;
Create reusable and scalable code to decouple features from gameplay;
Provide technical support to other teams for features built by the Tech Team;
Debug problems affecting multiple projects at the same time;
Be an ambassador for best practices and coding guidelines in the studio;
Investigate new technologies and analyze usability;
Conduct technical analysis of games in development built by production teams;

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent experience;
Good Knowledge of C#;
Strong architecture skills and knowledge of design patterns;
Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices;
Knowledge of best practices for optimizing 3D environments;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Positive attitude and an ability to provide and receive constructive criticism;
Self-motivated, strong work ethic and able to work independently;
Interested in advancing the state of the art in game technologies and development methodologies;
Experience in the Game Industry & Mobile Application development;
Understanding of multi-platform development;
Strong knowledge of Unity and its advanced features;
