Job Description

The Technical Resource Planner collaborates with various service teams (DSDs, CPMs, DTMs) to plan and utilize installation and contract resources effectively, ensuring all scheduled activities are assigned and documented. This role involves identifying workforce needs, validating resource qualifications, assessing test and verification requirements, and developing installation auditing processes. The planner also helps deploy enhanced scheduling tools and leads improvement projects to boost efficiency.

Must Have:
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with District Service Directors, Customer Project Managers, District Technical Managers, and Service teams.

  • Validate all scheduled and confirmed resources are appropriately trained and qualified.
  • Partner with DSDs, DTMs, and Service Team to ensure all planned and scheduled activities are assigned, documented, visible, and accurate.
  • Assess the need for test and verification and assign work orders to appropriate resources.
  • Develop installation auditing processes to ensure quality.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations Coordination, Customer Services, Resource Planning or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively in a team-based organization.
  • Advanced PC skills with demonstrated knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Share Point and Outlook.
  • Capable of making commitments, setting priorities, and delivering results on time and on budget.

Job Description

Your role:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the District Service Directors (DSDs), Customer Project Managers (CPMs), District Technical Managers (DTMs) and Service teams to ensure effective installation and contract resource planning and utilization. Identifying workforce requirements (internal vs Approved Service Providers) and validate all scheduled and confirmed resources are appropriately trained and qualified
  • Partners with the DSDs, DTMs, and Service Team to make sure all planned and scheduled activities are assigned, documented, visible and accurate on a master calendar or scheduling tool. Ensures everyone within the team is aware of the zone workload and schedule through effective communication
  • Assess the need for test and verification and assign work orders to appropriate resources when required. Develop installation auditing processes to ensure quality and participate with leadership in daily management ensuring standard work is being followed and continually improved.
  • Helps to review, analyze, select, and deploy enhanced scheduling tools to improve the efficiency of the role and districts. Participate in and lead cross-functional implementation improvement projects and initiatives – deliver results.

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations Coordination, Customer Services, Resource Planning or equivalent. Project Management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the HPM Healthcare environment and Patient Monitoring products preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively in a team-based organization across multiple remote locations/departments with management and individuals of various levels and backgrounds across different time zones.
  • Advanced PC skills with demonstrated knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Share Point and Outlook.
  • Capable of making commitments, setting priorities, and delivering results on time and on budget.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $32.99 to $52.79, plus overtime eligible.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
