MY.GAMES is a leading European developer and publisher seeking a Technical UI Designer to build UIs in the Unity game engine. The role involves customizing and integrating UI animations, collaborating with designers and developers, and ensuring UI adaptability across various screen resolutions. The designer will optimize UI layers, implement interactive elements, and work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. The role is remote, providing an opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects across various genres. The responsibilities also include ensuring accurate implementation of interfaces, optimizing UI layers, and implementing interactive elements such as buttons, lists, and transitions between windows.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience working with Unity UI
  • Proficiency in Unity and UI adaptation principles
  • Experience customizing and integrating UI animations
  • Solid understanding of UI architecture in game projects
  • Familiarity with Unity layout systems
  • Ability to read and implement UI designs from Figma
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams

What you’ll do:
  • Build UIs in the Unity game engine based on design layouts
  • Customize and integrate UI animations using Unity's built-in tools
  • Collaborate closely with UI designers and developers to ensure accurate implementation of interfaces
  • Ensure UI adaptability across various screen resolutions
  • Optimize UI layers and animations for performance
  • Implement interactive elements such as buttons, lists, and transitions between windows
What you need to succeed:
  • 2+ years of experience working with Unity UI
  • Proficiency in Unity and a strong understanding of layout and UI adaptation principles
  • Experience customizing and integrating UI animations
  • Solid understanding of UI architecture in game projects (scenes, prefabs, canvases, sorting, batching)
  • Familiarity with Unity layout systems (Canvas Group, Layout Group, Content Size Fitter, etc.)
  • Ability to read and implement UI designs from tools like Figma
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams alongside designers, developers, and artists
